Katy Cot

Katy Cot (also written Katy-Cot) is a large, early-ripening, all-purpose freestone apricot well suited to the warmer regions of NZ — one of the better choices for Northland, Auckland and other warmer areas where traditional apricot varieties can struggle to get enough winter chill. Self-fertile. Produces large, flavourful fruit. Disease resistant. Ripens ahead of most other apricots, extending the fresh apricot season earlier into summer. Available at Wairere Nursery and specialist NZ nurseries.
