Kākāriki
Kākāriki is an exceptionally early-season feijoa variety producing very sweet, large fruit — one of the first feijoas of the season and with outstanding sweetness. Named after the kākāriki, the small native NZ parakeet. Harvest can begin as early as February to March in warmer areas. Partially self-fertile — benefits from cross-pollination with another variety for heavier crops. A premium early variety for home gardeners wanting feijoas ahead of the main April–June season. Available at specialist NZ nurseries.
