Jiro (Persimmon)

Jiro is a non-astringent variety of persimmon produces large flat tomato-shaped deep orange firm fruit with a sweet crisp flavour. It will keep relatively well.
Jiro is an attractive ornamental tree with vigorous and spreading habit. It's glossy green leaves turn into lovely autumn colours. It is a cold hardy variety.

May be difficult to source due to discontinuation at some nurseries.
