Jersey (NH)

Jersey blueberry is an American northern highbush variety. It has small - medium sized light blue berries with firm flesh and mild flavour. A consistent producer, it grows upright and is well adapted to mechanical harvesting. It is not as fussy as other varieties, and is able to adapt to a wide range of conditions. It is a high chill variety though, so will best suit cooler climates - those south of Waikato.
