Jamaican Red Dwarf

Jamaican Red Dwarf is a visually striking compact banana variety from Jamaica and the wider Caribbean. Grows to approximately 2.6m — much more manageable than most banana varieties. Deep red to burgundy pseudostem makes it a dramatic garden specimen as well as a productive fruiting plant. Produces good fruit in warm, sheltered NZ conditions.
