Irish Peach
Irish Peach is a very early-ripening heritage apple — one of the first apples of the season — with an upright and spreading tree habit. Produces tasty, tart apples best eaten directly from the tree at peak freshness, as the flavour fades quickly once picked. Can also be used for juicing. The very early harvest is the key virtue, bringing fresh apples to the table from January. Requires a pollinator such as Egremont Russet. Available at Wairere Nursery.
