Iona

Iona produces beautiful bunches of light pink, medium-sized, juicy, sweet, seeded grapes. Notably resistant to downy mildew — a genuine advantage in wetter NZ growing areas where fungal diseases can be challenging for grapes. A productive and attractive vine. The pink-coloured berries are eye-catching at harvest. Seeded variety — the seeds are small and unobtrusive. Self-fertile. Mid-season. Available from NZ specialist grape nurseries.
