Healy's Peacharine

Healy's Peacharine is a NZ heritage hybrid — a nectarine × peach cross — producing medium to large, smooth-skinned fruit with sweet and juicy yellow flesh. Excellent for fresh eating and a great bottler — the firm, meaty texture holds well in bottling. A late-season variety that extends the stone fruit harvest. Named for its NZ originator. Self-fertile. All hybrid stonefruit varieties are effectively self-fertile in NZ conditions. Available from specialist NZ heritage nurseries.
