Granatum (Pomegranate)

The Granatum pomegranate produces round yellow/red fruit containing a juicy pink pulp around the many seeds. It has glossy deciduous leaves and bright scarlet red flowers. Pomegranates are a great choice for container gardening as they are long lived (up to 200 years!) but are very slow growing. Can reach up to 3m in height. Will flower over a long period of time, from late spring right through summer.
