Goliath

Goliath is a heritage red currant variety producing clusters of very large, high-quality fruit — one of the larger-berried red currant selections. Excellent for making desserts and jams where the large berry size is an advantage. A heritage variety that has stood the test of time for its fruit quality. Self-fertile. Mid-season. Deciduous bush to 1.5m. Red currants are high in pectin, making them valuable for jam-making on their own or as a setting agent. Available from heritage NZ nurseries.
