Goldstrike

Goldstrike is a late-season apricot producing very large, firm, freestone fruit with orange skin and a distinctive orange-red blush. The firm orange flesh has a slightly acidic edge that gives it a lively, full flavour. A reliable, heavy-cropping variety rated as an excellent eating apricot. The large fruit size and late ripening make it a useful variety for extending the apricot season. Partially self-fertile but benefits from a pollinator such as Sundrop or Trevatt.
