Golden Pearmain

Golden Pearmain is a heritage apple with gold to green-gold skin — a tart-sweet, juicy variety with good flavour both fresh and cooked. Ripens during summer in NZ, making it a useful mid-season variety. Pearmain-type apples are among the oldest named apple types in English history. Good balanced flavour between sweet and tart. Requires a pollinator. A mid-season heritage dessert and cooking apple. Available at Wairere Nursery.
