Golden Chasselas

Golden Chasselas is a heritage European table grape variety, one of the oldest cultivated grape varieties in the world, with roots in Switzerland and France going back centuries. It produces golden-green grapes in well-formed bunches with a mild, crisp and refreshing flavour. The grapes are seeded. A moderately vigorous and highly productive vine, Golden Chasselas ripens early in the season and is well suited to NZ home gardens where it is grown primarily for fresh eating.
