Goldbar

Goldbar is a large apricot variety developed in Washington State, USA, producing very large light yellow-orange fruit with a red blush. The freestone flesh is light orange, very firm and meaty with a sweet flavour and slight acidity near the skin. A vigorous tree that flowers heavily, Goldbar is well suited to fresh eating and the fruit has good keeping quality. Requires a pollinator such as Goldstrike or another apricot variety for best fruit set.
