Geeveston Fanny

Geeveston Fanny originated in Australia in 1880, producing gorgeously pretty apples with cherry-red stripes and a distinctive hint of strawberry flavour when fully tree-ripened — a unique and enticing characteristic. A premium eating apple when at its best. Mid to late season. Requires a pollinator. The strawberry flavour note is most pronounced when left on the tree to full ripeness. A special variety for discerning home orchardists. Available at Wairere Nursery.
