Garden Prince (Dwarf)

Garden Prince Dwarf is a compact self-fertile almond variety — both highly ornamental and productive. Beautiful pink spring blossoms develop into medium-sized sweet nuts enclosed in soft, well-sealed shells. Grows to approximately 2.5m × 2.5m (7–10 years) — smaller than a standard almond but not as tiny as container descriptions sometimes suggest. Suitable for containers, courtyards and smaller gardens. Low chill requirement, well suited to all NZ regions including Northland. Self-fertile. Available at Wairere, Waimea and specialist NZ nut nurseries.
