Fortune

Fortune is a mid-season Japanese plum variety producing very large, round, bright garnet-red fruit with aromatic amber flesh that is meaty, sweet and exceptionally juicy. The sheer size and attractive colouring make it one of the more eye-catching plum varieties available. A reliable cropper, Fortune ripens in mid-season and is excellent for fresh eating. Requires a pollinator such as Santa Rosa, Omega or Duff's Early Jewel.
