Fort Laramie

Fort Laramie is an everbearing strawberry variety that produces fruit from summer through to autumn, offering a longer cropping window than standard June-bearing types. Developed in the USA, Fort Laramie is notably hardy and frost tolerant, performing reliably in cooler NZ conditions where some other strawberry varieties struggle. The berries are sweet and well flavoured, suited to fresh eating, jam and preserves.
