Fino de Jete

Fino de Jete is a premium Spanish cherimoya variety with sweet, tangy flavour, smooth flesh and moderate seeds. It has medium vigour and is one of the most widely grown commercial cherimoya varieties in Spain. The name refers to the Jete region of Andalusia where it was developed. The classic cherimoya flavour combines notes of pineapple, vanilla and banana in a creamy, custard-like flesh. In NZ, cherimoyas are effectively self-pollinating.
