Eros

Eros is a very hardy strawberry variety known particularly for its resistance to red stele, a serious root disease that can devastate less resistant varieties. This makes Eros a strong choice for home gardens where red stele has been a problem in the soil, or for growers preferring lower-spray approaches. It produces large, glossy, bright red berries with good flavour. A June-bearing type, well suited to cooler NZ regions.
