Early Red II

Early Red II is a very early-season nectarine producing yellow-fleshed fruit with attractive red-blushed skin. Good balance of sweet and tart flavour, with freestone flesh and good fruit size. A vigorous variety valued for its very early ripening — bringing fresh nectarines to the table ahead of most other varieties. Good eating quality for such an early-season stone fruit. Self-fertile. Harvest from late November to December. Available at NZ nurseries.
