Discovery

Discovery is a heritage variety of dessert apple, originating in Essex in the 1940s. Attractive flat-round fruit of medium size with a bright red flush over a pale greenish/yellow skin. The creamy white flesh is often stained pink under the skin. Crisp and juicy with a very pleasant, sweet, slightly tangy flavour. Partial tip bearer. Hardy.
