Dawson

Dawson produces excellent eating cherries with firm, rich red flesh encased in deep black skin. Fruit is usually medium-sized, ripening approximately mid-December — perfect timing for the Christmas table. Tree habit is upright and spreading. Requires a pollinator such as Lapins, Stella or Modesto for reliable fruit set. A reliable and attractive cherry tree for NZ home gardens.
