Dawn O'Leary is a late-season NZ heritage apple variety from the Koanga Institute collection, available on M9 dwarf rootstock — producing a compact tree that is ideal for smaller home gardens, espalier training or container growing. M9 rootstock trees typically reach 2–2.5m, making them one of the most manageable apple tree sizes for home orchardists.
