Cowie's Triangle

Cowie's Triangle is an attractive NZ heritage cooking apple — firm, late-season fruit with distinctive green skin bearing a red splash near the stalk. Late ripening, which extends its usefulness as a cooking apple into the cooler months when other varieties are finished. A genuinely worthy heritage variety for the home orchard. Requires a pollinator. Grows to 4–5m in a sunny, well-drained position. Available from Wairere Nursery and heritage NZ nurseries.
