Chandler is a short-day (June-bearing) strawberry variety with medium-sized, firm berries and sweet, good flavour — a fantastic home garden variety for anyone who wants a reliable, well-flavoured crop in the main strawberry season. A consistent cropper with good disease resistance. One of the most widely grown home garden strawberry varieties in NZ. Self-fertile. Plant in full sun with rich, free-draining soil.
