Caves

Caves is an early-season fig variety producing large, tasty fruit that ripens around Christmas in New Zealand, making it one of the earliest figs to harvest. Very easy to grow and well suited to NZ home gardens, with a compact habit that grows to around 3 metres. The early harvest window is a key advantage for those who want to enjoy fresh figs before most other varieties are ready. Self-fertile. Plant in a warm, sunny position with good drainage.
