Carter's Navel is a popular navel orange variety producing large, sweet, seedless fruit of excellent quality. One of its most valued traits is its exceptional ability to hold on the tree without deteriorating, giving a long, extended harvest window and reducing the pressure to pick all at once. A self-fertile variety, Carter's Navel performs best in warm, sheltered NZ positions and is well suited to coastal and northern regions.
