Cardinal

Cardinal is a vigorous grape vine variety producing large, attractive reddish-purple table grapes with a crisp, juicy texture and pleasant flavour. The grapes are seeded with a fairly large pip, and the clusters are well-sized and showy. Originally developed in California in the 1940s as a cross between Alphonse Lavallée and Flame Tokay, Cardinal is primarily a fresh eating variety that ripens in early to mid season.
