Captain Kidd Kay

Captain Kidd Kay is a New Zealand selected heritage apple which was released in 1970. It's fruit is streaked bright red and has some russeting. The flesh is sweet and juicy with a very good and aromatic flavour somewhat similar to a Cox's Orange. A consistent cropper that ripens around March and is a good keeper.
