Burbank

Named after the well known plum breeder Luther Burbank the fruit are large, round, dark red with sweet, juicy, aromatic, yellow flesh. In Japan this variety is used for Japanese wine. A reliable and heavy mid-season cropper and is a fairly hardy selection. Expect fruit once tree is 2-4 years old. Partially self-fertile.
