Bluecrop (NH)

Bluecrop is a Northern Highbush high-chill variety known for its heavy cropping and vigorous growth, producing medium to large, sweet and mild, firm berries. The most widely grown blueberry variety in the world. Resistant to shoestring and red ringspot virus, and moderately resistant to mummy berry and powdery mildew. Best suited to cooler climates south of Waikato. Self-fertile but crops more heavily with a companion variety. A proven and reliable standard for NZ home growers.
