Blenheim Orange

Blenheim Orange is a heritage English apple originating at Blenheim Palace, Oxfordshire — large, round, flat, regular-shaped fruit with orange-yellow slightly russetted skin striped with dull red, and rich, nutty, cream-coloured flesh. A dual-purpose variety: outstanding flavour for both fresh eating and cooking. A tip-bearer, which affects how it should be pruned. Requires a pollinator. Late season. A premium heritage variety with genuine character. Available at Wairere Nursery.
