Black Koanga

Black Koanga is a NZ local selection of fig with deep purple skin, shiny surface and pink flesh. A late-season variety. From the Koanga Institute collection — an example of the locally selected NZ heritage varieties that have been maintained in organic growing systems. All NZ figs are self-fertile — no pollinator required.
