Black Amber

Black Amber produces flat, round, medium-large fruit with purple-black skin. Flesh is pale-cream with a red stain from the skin, increasing as the fruit ripens. Firm, juicy and with good flavour, this variety is self-fertile but a pollinator such as ‘Santa Rosa’ will improve fruit set. Clingstone variety and stores well.
