Bert's

Bert's is a dessert apple with old fashioned firm flesh and excellent flavour. It produces medium sized, round apples with yellowish russety skin and a red blush.
It comes to us (Koanga) From Bert Davies collection planted in 1917 in his old pear orchard, one of 2 apples in the pear orchard (the other was Northern Spy).
