Aspiring

Aspiring is a strong and productive raspberry plant — considered one of the easiest to grow. A low-chill, self-fertile variety producing large, dark-red, conical, firm fruit of excellent flavour. It grows as a bramble on upright canes with small thorns. Simple small flowers covered with rose-type leaves are followed by luscious sweet fruit. A summer and autumn dual cropper — a useful characteristic for extending the fresh raspberry season. Available from NZ specialist berry nurseries.
