Ascolano

Ascolano is a popular olive choice for the large, mild-flavoured fruit it produces — these stay green rather than turning black when ripe. Very ornamental with evergreen twisted grey-green foliage. One of the larger-growing olive varieties. Best in a sunny, free-draining spot and will produce best with a companion olive such as Frantoio. Grows to approximately 6m×3m. Also known as Ascalano.
