Aronia melanocarpa (Black Chokeberry) is a deciduous shrub producing glossy black berries that are among the most antioxidant-rich fruits in the world — significantly higher than blueberries, blackberries or cranberries. Excellent for jam, juice and preserves. Small white flowers in spring, stunning red-purple autumn foliage. Self-fertile and frost hardy to -30°C. Adaptable to a wide range of soils.
