Aptos

Aptos is a day-neutral (everbearing) strawberry variety producing good crops of medium-sized, dark red, slightly soft fruit with good flavour over an extended season from spring through autumn. A versatile variety for fresh eating, jam and freezing. Day-neutral varieties produce across multiple flushes rather than a single concentrated crop, giving a longer supply of fresh strawberries. Self-fertile. Available from specialist NZ strawberry nurseries.
