Almond CY750

Almond CY750 is prized for its paper-shelled, sweet nuts that are notably easy to shell — one of the thinnest-shelled almond varieties available. A vigorous grower and reliable cropper. Requires a pollinator: Monovale is the recommended companion variety for best nut set. Plant in a warm, sunny, sheltered position with good drainage. Almonds are sensitive to wet winter soils. Deciduous, growing to 4–5m. Available from specialist NZ nut nurseries.
