Albion

Albion is a day-neutral (everbearing) strawberry variety producing large, firm, conical, sweet and juicy fruit from late spring through to autumn — an exceptionally long harvest season. Notable for good resistance to Verticillium wilt, Phytophthora crown rot and relative resistance to Anthracnose crown rot, making it a more disease-resilient choice for home gardens. Produces many runners which should be removed regularly to maintain high fruit production. Self-fertile. Available from NZ specialist strawberry nurseries.
