Adriatic (Oakura)

The Adriatic (Oakura) fig variety, from what we understand, appears to be distinct from the White Adriatic variety. However, if you have any additional information or insights on this, we would greatly appreciate your input.

This unique Adriatic (Oakura) fig features light green skin that contrasts beautifully with its vibrant red flesh. The taste is notably rich and exceedingly sweet, making it an excellent choice for both fresh consumption and drying. This variety produces two crops a year, with the primary harvest occurring in April. A smaller, lighter crop, known as the breba crop, also appears in December. Although the December yield is significantly less abundant, it still provides a delightful early taste of these delicious figs.
