Cavendish Super Dwarf

Cavendish Super Dwarf is a very small growing banana variety reaching only 0.5–1m tall — the most compact banana available. However, its very poor cold tolerance makes it unsuitable for most of New Zealand. Even in greenhouses it may struggle. The fruit is of medium size and generally good quality. A great choice only for an extremely sheltered spot in the warmest NZ locations, or as an indoor container plant in cooler regions.
