Black Prince is an old heritage apple, originating in France in 1628 or even earlie). A rare apple that is maroon to black in colour, large, round and heavy. It has very firm flesh and is crisp, juicy and tart. An early mid-season apple that can be used for eating, cooking, juicing, jelly or cider making.
